On July 10, the first day of the Introductory Seminar for the finalists of the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the city of Grozny took place.

In the business space "Boiling Point - Grozny" a welcoming meeting of the participants of the Inception Seminar was held, during which the upcoming tasks were discussed.

The finalists were addressed by the Deputy Mayor of Grozny, Musa Tutuev, the chief architect of Grozny, Alikhan Tokshaev, and the co-founder of the Agency for Strategic Development CENTER, Sergey Georgievskiy.

Next, the finalists visited the Stairway to Heaven panoramic complex, which was opened only three years ago, but has already become a tourist symbol of the city. The participants also visited the natural and recreational area of the Grozny Sea in order to develop its concept of development and filling.

Sites were inspected for detailed study in the master plan. Particular attention was paid to the use of industrial territories that have lost their purpose, as well as to the development of the transport framework, external transport links and the spatial development of the city of Grozny.

Tomorrow the Introductory Seminar will continue. The participants will meet with representatives of the executive authorities of the economic, socio-cultural, construction, architectural and transport blocks.
