On October 5, the Consortium under the leadership of the Master’s plan bureau became the winner of the Open international competition for the development of a master plan for the city of Grozny, the Chechen Republic.

Until the end of the year, the winning proposal will be finalized taking into account comments from members of the Jury and the Expert Council. In particular, specialists must clarify and detail project proposals and finalize the roadmap.

The key success factors in finalizing the master plan are taking into account the opinions of all stakeholders, transparency and openness of the process. A master plan is not just a set of documents and diagrams, but a living and developing tool that can adapt to new conditions and needs, ensuring the long-term and sustainable development of the city.

The master plan that won the Competition includes several levels of city development, including in economic, social, and cultural areas. It also implies attracting new technologies and investments, creating a comfortable and favorable environment for the population.

The practical implementation of the master plan for Grozny is planned until 2035.
